Strengthen, Deepen, Connect, and Grow Your Congregation - The District Executive designs leadership educational programs for both lay and professional leaders and is available for workshops and consultations with individual congregations. She offers programs and suggestions for such issues as:
- leadership development
- governance and decision-making processes
- staff structures and personnel issues
- growth and membership practices
- evaluation of the ministry (both professional and lay)
- strategic planning
Rev. Phillips offers one consultation a year to Fair Share congregations. The District will charge those who are not Fair Share for her services. She also refers other consultants for consideration.
She is the first person to call when:
- your minister resigns or is terminated
- a potentially divisive conflict is emerging
- anytime you feel a problem in your congregations seems insurmountable
If in doubt, call and ask! The well-being of Unitarian Universalism in our district is always of utmost importance to her.
