Renaissance Modules are the core professional development for religious educators. However, attendance is open to all.

The explicit goals of this module are to

  • create an understanding of identity as a process
  • become aware of how the process unfolds
  • identify ways to foster the process, specifically among Religious Education participants and generally among their congregations

A few of the modules implicit goals include

  • helping participants identify their own growth as Unitarian Universalists
  • creating an interactive environment for discussion and for the sharing of ideas

The Reader is The Unitarian Universalist Pocket Guide, Fifth Edition, edited by Peter Morales and published by Skinner House, 2012. This book can be ordered through the UUA Bookstore at the link provided above. Participants should read the entire book before coming to the module.
