Clara Barton congregations applied for Spring 2013 grants - requests
totaled $23,215. Three grants totaling $4,350 will be funded by
individual Chalice Lighters who have pledged to donate $20 in response
to this call --

What would your congregation do with a $500 to $3,500 Chalice Lighter Grant? The deadline for applications is April 15
so consider how you could spruce up RE space, develop new programming,
or augment other funds for accessibility projects.
On March 14th, the Unitarian Universalist
Association’s (UUA) Board of Trustees authorized the purchase of a new
headquarters for the UUA at 24 Farnsworth Street in Boston’s Innovation
District and the sale of our current Beacon Hill properties. This is

Luminary Leaders
is a UUA recognition program that honors youth for their leadership and
service in UU communities. Recognized youth are then connected to
increased opportunities as well as to one another. Do you know a youth
who should be recognized?
The Mass Bay
District's Woburn Fund grant program funding cycle has been moved to the
Fall of 2013. MBD is actively working with software developers to
design an online application platform that will engage the wider
community of Unitarian Universalists in exciting new ways. Funding
guidelines will remain focused on growth and innovation in and beyond
our congregations. Keep an eye out for application details this coming
