First Parish Church Northborough, MA
in partnership with the CBD G.R.A.C.E. (Growing Racial and Cultural Equity) Team
At this second annual gathering, through spirited worship, a keynote presentation, conversations, and congregational team work, participants will
- consider how structural racism affects Unitarian Universalists and our efforts to live out the values we aspire to achieve as individuals and as congregations
- learn from personal stories
- share concerns and hopes with sister congregations
- assess where their congregation is at on a path toward shared leadership, ownership and benefit across racial divides
- plan steps they can take to promote transformation in their congregation
This gathering is appropriate for congregational teams from any Unitarian Universalist congregation seeking to increase their capacity for multicultural ministries. We encourage people to come in congregational teams and particularly encourage the participation of congregational leaders, including Ministers, Presidents, DREs, Social Justice Committees, etc. It is open to teams from either district.
REGISTER NOW! (Deadline: May 15)
Fee:
- $35 per person
- $140 for congregational teams of up to 5 ($25 for each additional team member after 5)
Promote this in your congregation. Click here for flyer.
